That Ye Might Believe
Every January we begin a new theme for the year. Our theme for 2017, "That Ye Might Believe" explores the reason why Jesus came to earth as shared in the book of John. We begin with the words of John 20:31, "but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name" and continue with a new verse and a new truth each month.
JOHN 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
JOHN 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
JOHN 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
JOHN 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
JOHN 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
JOHN 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
JOHN 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
JOHN 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
JOHN 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
JOHN 12:30 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
JOHN 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
